Targa Florio - 1973 - La course légendaire!

Retards getting their panties in a twist about "concrete safety barriers" like there was much better in 1985, braindead morons
Would love to see some developer make a sim racing title revolving around pre-war motorsport, with historic cars, tracks and categories.
merci mille fois merci pour cette vidéo
Amazing
1:57 I like the way they signalled the start of the race with a huge explosion
Good historical videos... Unfortunately you can also see a lot of Nazis here...
Were they still getting air in that one place.
The era of true heroes!!! Thanks for sharing!!! 🙏🇺🇸
Caracciola still holds the German Grand Prix record which remains unbeaten today. Awesome. Can he make it to 100 years with an unbeaten record?
Which layout of Nurburgring circuit was this race run on? 7.19 minute is real fast for these cars
This is an excerpt the wonderful "Shell History of Motor Racing, done in 1964. It's never been brought out on DVD but is a must for anyone interested in the history of motor racing. I've never seen anything, including the closing credits, identifying the narrator but he sounds an awful lot like Patrick MacNee.
Schade das die Strecke heute so zugewachsen ist. Da hatte man noch die Autos weit verfolgen können. Schade.
great season love old kyalami downhill on start finish line
Hermosa epoca de la F1 !
Why the hell isn't every single comment about the driver named 'DICK SEMEN'????!!!! There is no ignoring something like that, it's your duty as a biological entity to laugh and joke about a person named DICK SEMEN.
Fantastic!!!
I remember it even though I was 6 years old!
I thought that Rudolf Caracciola's name was pronounced Caratchiola, and his nickname was Karratsch. His ancestors had emigrated form Naples in during the Hundred Years War. Great video, thank you very much.
This is the smallest number of laps in a full distance F1 race
There was no le Mans race in 1936!
1930s racing can be goofy and dangerous at the same time
i don't see any cats eyes on the road in this video
"Racing is life. Anything before or after is just waiting," Gilles Villeneuve
"Racing is life. Anything before or after is just waiting," Gilles Villeneuve
François Cevert était encore là, magnifique François Cevert, magnifique Français !
6:16 Wilbur with that double whammy 👀
did they see 1934 grand prix races it was a big mistake
1:06 It's Dick Semen... what a name!
I'd love to go back in time just to see these races. Today's car racing will never be as spectacular as it was back in the days.
Incroyable même si cela semble être hier. Comme ces 33 sont magnifiques
At 05:02 .The man with the glasses is Helmut Kohl. 🤓
3:25 That guy won $36,000. That’s a chunk of change!
Fantastic
Dick seaman 😆 what a legend. He's got Richard on his birth certificate
Io c'ero ed avevo diciotto anni. Ultima Targa Florio e ricordi vivi ancora oggi. Non dimenticherò mai la Porsche 911 RSR che vinse ed il suo pilota Müller. Che tempi!
2:37 😍
How come disqualified for removing damaged tire?
What's the guys name that's talking?
When I look at these cars, I immediately remember Mafia 1 2002 and.. 5 mission in it))
In front of who everyone participated in the races then when there was no safety, helmets, reliability of cars, it remains only for him to take off his hat.
Tal vez al salir con cubiertas frias ..
The very real danger of death or serious injury ever present in 1960's and 1970's F1 racing . Outrageous aluminium coffins driven by men of steel .
Once Again--Wonderful Material for those of us who like these videos, shone for our perusal, & for those like me,"Contemplating The Whichness of The Why". Look closely, you'll see the mechanics, who are fixing, changing tyres, adding fuel--they the mechanic--aren't wearing sponsor uniforms,No Helmets, as such. Just going about their jobs for the companies they represent--that is the factories & nation's participating--as I Heard near the end, just before the beginning of World War II. Zo, wha' da ya t'ink ? I'd like how you may reply to my presentation here. C/O RDRT.
Extrodinary to Think About This-- at the speed these specialized German Auto's were racing--200 mph, with other makes, British, Italian, French perhaps as well--on those early race tracks--if you look closely, you'll notice no real racing helmets (as we know of today's racing events), very little fence's as such, for protection on the part of the spectators on the sides of the tracks ! Wonderful, Simply, Wonderful videos being presented. I likes these short programs on RUclips ! Keep--em--coming ! Thank you...
Timing everybody manually must have been so tiring. No wonder lap times were rounded up to the nearest second.
This was F1 😎🏆🏎️🏁 even though the FIA don't recognize it as "official" F1 championsip. But, we all know, it is!
I mean there wasnt really any "Championship" back then it was just Races (Unless this was one of the years with the European Championship in which case I agree)
Having recently read Duncan Hamiltons autobiography and " The Limit" by Michael Cannell, both excellent reads, I'm delighted to find your channel and film from around this era. I was 10 in 1971, and too young to appreciate the racing, but now I can savour it. I'm very grateful. Thank you.
4:57 der Moment, wenn die Tankleuchte angeht 🤣
"hey kids! wanna go watch the grand prix.. one average, a driver will most like die during the race."
Joseph Goebbels is not who you expect to see in a motor race...
If you weren't aware. During the 1st German Grand Prix at the Nurbergring ( I can usually spell better than this), Nazi Storm Troopers were part of that event, before the race began. Crazy Huh? Thank you. Bye...
Love the nostalgia! Thank you.
